Look Book & Style ID

The old adage, “A picture is worth a thousand words”, has never been more true when trying to identify the style for your home. So many homeowners contemplating a renovation tell me of all the time spent pouring over books, magazines, and internet photos looking for good inspirational images.  This can be  overwhelming and inefficient.

Once familiar with your project, I can easily filter through thousands of images in my library to create a collection of inspirational images to become your project's cloud based “Look Book”.

The development of the “Look Book”  brings a lot of focus to what elements should and should not be part of the project.  It connects the homeowner to the designer using images to prompt detailed discussions on what the final project should look and feel like.

Style ID

I start  with four main style categories: Traditional, Transitional, Modern and Old World.  This helps filter finishes that work best for each project so that it has a cohesive feel.  Other, more specific styles will ultimately be used to further define the look and how the client wants it to feel such as: Spanish, Cape Cod, Hawaiian, Farm, Plantation, Mid Century, Industrial, Mediterranean, Craftsman, Bungalow…
